Zaza Recommends: All-Star Weekend Plans
2/12/10
While some players will be in Dallas this weekend to participate in All-Star festivities (shout outs to my teammates Joe Johnson and Al Horford), for everyone else its a chance to rest or even take a short vacation to get away from it all. Here are my recommendations for where to spend the time off.
1. All-Star Weekend in Dallas. Obviously, if you can do that, you gotta check that out.
2. Dominican Republic – Lot of nice places, plus its where Al Horford is from. Great service, great people, and a great place to rest and have fun.
3. Mexico – Great beaches there and always great weather, it’s great if you like Mexican food or like drinking margaritas
4. Bahamas – Nice resorts, and it’s probably the easiest to get to from the East Coast outside of the country.
5. Miami – Strictly for fun. It’s the best time to go there right now because of the weather, since its crappy everywhere else but its nice there. Don’t go there to rest, it’s the place to go to have fun.
I am going to spend the break resting my hip and watching the events on TV. The dunk contest is my favorite, so I'll definitely be watching that and then cheering for Al and Joe on Sunday.
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
